Spain is a country that fascinates its visitors again and again. It is situated in the South-East of Europe, in the biggest part of the Iberian peninsula and directly at the Mediterranean Sea. A part of Andalusia, however, is situated at the Atlantic Ocean.
The sun, the long sandy beaches, the typical Spanish music, the bull fights and many other things make this country so attractive for a broad public. Besides these famous attractions, Spain offers also a wide cultural offer that captivates tourists as well as residents. Also the old and traditional towns are so interesting, where you can breathe history and only desire to discover all the big and small streets with their nice restaurants, shops, churches, museums etc.
Spain is divided into many regions, and each of them has its special characteristics. In the North we find green landscapes, from Galicia via Asturias, Cantabria, Basque country and Navarra up to Aragon. Bordering on Aragon, there is Catalonia with the famous Costa Brava that offers sun, beach, sea and fun as well as cultural enjoyment. In Castilia, in the centre of Spain, we can discover many old and interesting castles, Andalusia is famous for its hot sun… - every region offers a lot of interesting characteristics.
Impressing towns, nostalgic architecture, historic sculptures – this is what we can find in all of them. However, the nature of each Spanish region shows a lot of differences: One town has enormous mountains and a warm humid climate, other towns impress with long beaches and high temperatures. You will surely agree: Spain is a very special and impressing country which is always worth a visit.
